For now he's gathering the general laundry, which he may usually leave for later when there's a full load, but as things are... Ah yes, a certain comment has him very concerned at the idea of leaving any kind of leftover work which could prove detrimental for his previous master's health. So he's feeling pretty good about doing this! Pretty good until, when he slowly opens up Hijikata's door he finds him... still awake...
He's honestly in his apartment to do chores at like, ass o'clock at night, so this is troubling!?]
Ehh? Hijikata-san? What are you doing still up? It's very late you know, and you even said that you have work tomorrow! You should be resting.
[ Only Souji is here now! Although, still, more work nonetheless... Horikawa sure is dedicated to these kind of things- Hijikata really needs to ask him someday if he actually likes doing this stuff because One: he never asked Horikawa to do anything and Two: he's been doing this... every day? he just Does It?

but anyway, the one thing that might have caught Hijikata juuust a bit off guard is Horikawa actually... Telling him to go to bed? Wait a minute. Hold up. This hasn't happened before (minus the slip ups)? ]

It's just hard to keep an energetic front so late at night, and when interrupted by worry like this.]

First step, put away those papers. Second step, nightclothes! Something more comfortable for the time being. Theeeen finally he'll untie that ponytail and get his comb to brush it. Should he go check on Horikawa, or just stay at his desk... Hmm...
He'll just wait patiently for now. It's relaxing time now, apparently??? ]
